Having bought many boxes from Hiroyuki, I can assure you that the quality has always been at the rendezvous. The boxes slide perfectly and the key cuts are invisible. I like all his boxes but especially the boxes that combine yosegi and walnut .The yosegi marquetry forms a pleasant contrast with the dark wood of the walnut and in addition it is an unusual square format box. I purchased 2 Puzzleboxes, because I always wanted to have one as a kid. They arrived in Germany quickly and they are amazing. They slide free and easy and if you don't know where to look you can't see the sliding parts. These boxes are like art. Beautiful woodwork.

This is a beautiful box, cleverly constructed with nearly invisible lines. Arrived safely from Japan to California.
I had intended to give this as a gift, but ended up keeping it myself. I would definitely recommend this to any one wanting something unique and special.
And trying to open this up without looking at the instructions was fun and challenging.

We purchased the 27 step Yosegi 5 sun puzzle box for our son.
