Item description
A small box can be placed inside the 10-step puzzle box with a drawer. This small box has no special mechanism and opens with one simple movement, but it can be used to store cards or similar items. The top of the small box is decorated with solid ichimatsu yosegi.
Wood mosaic (yosegi) patterns are slightly different on each puzzle box, so the pattern may not be exactly the same as in the photo.
Outer Drawer box:
Opening method of the puzzle box: 10 steps (including the drawer)
Moving panels and sliding keys: 3 panels / 1 key
Outside size: 5.90 × 3.85 × 2.75 inch (150 × 98 × 70 mm)
Inside storage space size: 4.13 × 3.07 × 1.02 inch
(105 × 78 × 26 mm, including drawer space)
A description sheet (solution sheet) and a gift box are included.
This is a 5-sun size Japanese puzzle box. “Sun” is a traditional Japanese unit of measurement. One sun is about 1.18 inches (3.0 cm). This drawer puzzle box opens in 10 steps. The lid panel opens at the 7th step, and the drawer comes out at the 10th step.

"The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made only of wood, environmentally-friendly products. This a one of traditional art work of Japan. The origin goes back even to the Edo and Meiji era (1800s) in Japan. It has been handed down by the very few craftsmen. I am crafting full-time these puzzle boxes by myself. I had training for 10 years and I'm crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in my workshop and shipped to you directly. I will promise that all boxes are of good quality. My Puzzle boxes will move smoothly, because I will check and test all puzzle boxes before shipping.
