*The top and bottom panels are made of sliced natural walnut wood (not solid wood board).
Opening method of the puzzle box: 10 steps (including the drawer)
Moving panels and slide keys: 3 panels / 1 key
Outside size: 5.90 x 3.85 x 2.75 inches (150 x 98 x 70 mm)
Inside storage space size: 4.13 x 3.07 x 1.02 inches (105 x 78 x 26 mm, drawer space)

This is a 5-sun-size Japanese puzzle box. “Sun” is a traditional Japanese measurement; 1 sun is about 1.18 inches (3.0 cm). This puzzle box opens in 10 steps — the lid panel opens at step 7, and the drawer comes out at step 10. The top and bottom panels are made of sliced walnut wood, and the side panels are made of natural wood (Nyatoh wood, Urushi wood, and Walnut wood). This puzzle box is handcrafted by Hiroyuki Oka.
"The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made only of wood, environmentally-friendly products. This a one of traditional art work of Japan. The origin goes back even to the Edo and Meiji era (1800s) in Japan. It has been handed down by the very few craftsmen. I am crafting full-time these puzzle boxes by myself. I had training for 10 years and I'm crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in my workshop and shipped to you directly. I will promise that all boxes are of good quality. My Puzzle boxes will move smoothly, because I will check and test all puzzle boxes before shipping.
