Item description
This is a cube-shaped puzzle box with an outer size of 55mm (5.5 cm = 2.2 inch) on each side.
The mechanism requires four steps to open the lid, which can be completely removed.
This box is made entirely from Agathis wood from Southeast Asia.
No metal or plastic is used in the internal structure.
The surface of the box is coated with a clear and safe urethane finish. The inside of the box is left uncoated.
The product comes in a plastic bag, placed inside a decorative paper box.
An instruction sheet showing how to open the box is included.
For shipping, the puzzle box is wrapped in bubble wrap, protected with paper padding, and packed in a cardboard box (as shown in the last photo).
Please note: Since natural wood is used, each box will have different grain patterns and shades of color. The actual product may look slightly different from the photos.

"The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made only of wood, environmentally-friendly products. This a one of traditional art work of Japan. The origin goes back even to the Edo and Meiji era (1800s) in Japan. It has been handed down by the very few craftsmen. I am crafting full-time these puzzle boxes by myself. I had training for 10 years and I'm crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in my workshop and shipped to you directly. I will promise that all boxes are of good quality. My Puzzle boxes will move smoothly, because I will check and test all puzzle boxes before shipping.
