Gimmick for opening the puzzle box : 14 steps and 5 steps
Moving panels and Slide keys : Large box : 3 panels, 1 keys / Small box : 4 panels, no keys
outside size : Large box 3.0x2.0x1.7inch (Japanese 2.5sun size) 75x45x40mm
Small Mame box 1.7x1.2x1.04 inch (1 sun size) 43x30x26mm

The large puzzle box is opened by 5 steps and inner small "Mame" box is opened by 14 steps. The small "Mame" box is settled into the large 5 steps box. "Mame" means beans in Japanese. That is Very Small!. and 2.5 sun is Japanese Measure,1 sun is 3 cm(1.18 inch).The length of this box is 7.5 cm (3.0 inch). Marquetry of Japan(Yosegi) is used for the pattern of this box. Many Natural woods is used for this marquetry(yosegi). The Japanese puzzle box is made from only wood. This puzzle box is made by OKA CRAFT.
"The Japanese puzzle box (Himitsu-bako) is made only of wood, environmentally-friendly products. This a one of traditional art work of Japan. The origin goes back even to the Edo and Meiji era (1800s) in Japan. It has been handed down by the very few craftsmen. I am crafting full-time these puzzle boxes by myself. I had training for 10 years and I'm crafting these Japanese puzzle boxes and Yosegi-zaiku for over 20 years. All items are made in my workshop and shipped to you directly. I will promise that all boxes are of good quality. My Puzzle boxes will move smoothly, because I will check and test all puzzle boxes before shipping.
